Chuletas y apuntes de Inglés de Universidad

Alike = igual, the same = lo mismo, we both = ambos, both of us = nosotros dos. "THERE ARE" se usa para plural y "THERE IS" para singular. Hay una nube en el cielo: THERE IS one cloud in the sky. Hay muchas nubes en el cielo: THERE ARE many clouds in the sky. HAVE es para I/You/We/They. HAS es para He/She/It. Significa haber o tener. HAD es para pasado, para todos.

Formular preguntas

Have I offended someone? = ¿He ofendido a alguien? Had I a turtle? = ¿Tuve una tortuga?

Negación

I haven't a dog = No tengo un perro. He hasn't a turtle = No tiene una tortuga.

Uso normal

Yo he/tengo = I have. Tú has/tienes = You have. Él/ella ha/tiene = He/she/it has.

Estructura Afirmativa

Sujeto + have/has + participio pasado + complemento.

Ejemplo: I have gone to the concert. (He ido al concierto).

Conjugación de 'Have'

Estructura Interrogativa

Have/Has + sujeto + participio pasado + complemento?

Ejemplo: Have you gone to the concert? (¿Has ido al concierto?)

Preguntas con WH (Wh-questions)

Palabra WH + have/has + sujeto + participio pasado + complemento?

Ejemplo: Why have you gone to the concert? (¿Por qué has ido al concierto?)

"Would" solo se puede usar para acciones repetidas en el pasado. ε

4. He had finished cooking when we arrived

Para una acción que ocurríó antes que otra acción en el pasado.

Voz Activa y Pasiva en Inglés: Ejemplos y Usos

Voz Activa vs. Voz Pasiva

Voz Activa (A): El sujeto realiza la acción.

Ejemplo: Picasso painted Guernica in 1937. (Picasso pintó Guernica en 1937)

Voz Pasiva (P): El sujeto recibe la acción.

Ejemplo: Guernica was painted by Picasso in 1937. (Guernica fue pintado por Picasso en 1937)

Tiempos Verbales

Simple Past

1. Sam repaired the car. (Sam reparó el coche.)
2. The car was repaired by Sam. (El coche fue reparado por Sam)

Simple Present
