Voz Activa y Pasiva en Inglés: Ejemplos y Usos

Voz Activa vs. Voz Pasiva

Voz Activa (A): El sujeto realiza la acción.

Ejemplo: Picasso painted Guernica in 1937. (Picasso pintó Guernica en 1937)

Voz Pasiva (P): El sujeto recibe la acción.

Ejemplo: Guernica was painted by Picasso in 1937. (Guernica fue pintado por Picasso en 1937)

Tiempos Verbales

Simple Past

1. Sam repaired the car. (Sam reparó el coche.)
2. The car was repaired by Sam. (El coche fue reparado por Sam)

Simple Present

1. Once a week, Tom cleans the house. (Una vez por semana, Tom limpia la casa.)

Tiempos Verbales en Inglés: Presente Simple, Presente Continuo y Pasado Simple

Presente Simple

El presente simple se utiliza para expresar:

• Rutinas
• Hábitos
• Hechos generales

Se utilizan DO / DOES / DOESN'T / DON'T para formar preguntas y negaciones.

Para la tercera persona del singular (he / she / it), se agrega "s" o "es" al verbo. Ejemplo: he watches tv

Ejemplos:

Positivo: She lives in London / You play

Negativo: She doesn't live in London / I don't like pizza

Pregunta: Do you play soccer? / Does she live in Chile?

Presente Continuo

El presente continuo se utiliza para expresar:

• Acciones que están ocurriendo ahora.

Se forma con el verbo to be + verbo en gerundio (-ing).

Ejemplos:

Positivo: She is studying now / They are playing

Zero Conditional

If you freeze water, it turns into ice. Si congelas el agua, se convierte en hielo.
