Uso de Will y Won't

Will - Won't: Expresar predicciones basadas en opiniones, creencias o conocimiento. Ej: I think this film will win the Oscar for best movie. Expresar ofrecimientos, promesas, amenazas y decisiones que se toman en el momento de hablar. Ej: I'll have a Coca-Cola, please.
Definitely, certainly, probably, possibly: Indican predicción y grado de certeza. Ej: They'll definitely get married, I possibly won't be there in time.
El futuro perfecto con will indica que la acción habrá finalizado. Ej: By this time next year, you will have started university.
Shall: Ofrecimientos y consejos.

Uso de Might

Might: Formular predicciones menos seguras. Ej: He might win the Oscar for the best movie.

Uso de Be Going To

Be going to: Ideas futuras acordadas antes de hablar.

  • Planes: How are you going to celebrate the end of term? We're going to have a big party.
  • Intenciones: I'm going to finish all my work today.
  • Ambiciones: When I leave school, I'm going to work with my dad.

Otras formas de futuro:

  • Present Continuous: Planes y citas.
  • Present Simple: Horarios y eventos programados. Ej: They publish the exam results tomorrow.

Tipos de Condicionales

  • 0 Condicional (Real): If + Present Simple + Present Simple. Ej: If it's sunny, she always takes her dog to the beach.
  • 1er Condicional (Posible): If + Present Simple + Future (Will). Ej: If we leave the dog alone all day, it will destroy the furniture.
  • 2do Condicional (Hipotética): If + Past Simple + Conditional (Would). Ej: If we left the dog alone all day, it would destroy the furniture.
