Tiempos Verbales Principales

Present Simple

Acciones habituales en el presente.

• AFF: I/you/we/they + verb | he/she/it + verb+s
• NEG: I/you/we/they + don't + verb | he/she/it + doesn't + verb
• INT: Do I/you/we/they + verb? | Does he/she/it + verb?

Present Continuous

Situaciones en curso que han empezado pero aún no han acabado y planes de futuro.

• AFF: I + am + v + ing | he/she/it + is + v + ing | we/you/they + are + v + ing
• NEG: I'm not + v + ing | he/she/it isn't + v + ing | we/you/they aren't + v + ing
• INT: Am I + v + ing...? | Is he/she/it + v + ing...? | Are you/we/they + v + ing...?

Past Simple

Cosas que se hicieron en un momento concreto (se dice cuándo).

• AFF: I/you/he/she/it/we/you/they + v + ed (regular verbs) / (irreg. segunda columna)
• NEG: I/you/he/she/it/we/you/they + didn't + verbo normal.
• INT: Did + I/he/she... + verbo normal...?

Past Continuous

Expresar qué estaba pasando en el pasado y no se sabe cuándo acaba.

• AFF: I/he/she/it was + v + ing | you/we/they were + v + ing
• NEG: I/he/she/it wasn't + v + ing | you/we/they weren't + v + ing
• INT: Was I/he/she/it + v + ing? | Were you/we/they + v + ing?

Present Perfect Simple

Acciones que comenzaron en el pasado y aún continúan. Acciones pasadas que afectan al momento actual. Acciones pasadas sin especificar cuándo.

• AFF: I/you/we/they have + v + ed | he/she/it has + v + ed
• NEG: hasn't y haven't + v + ed.
• INT: Have I/you/we/they + v + ed...? | Has he/she/it + v + ed...? (irregular verbs tercera columna)

PPS vs. PS

El PPS indica que lo que aconteció en el pasado está relacionado con el presente y no dice cuándo tuvo lugar. El PS habla de acciones pasadas que ya no afectan al momento.

Redacción

Since a long time I wanted to go to see a MotoGP race where my idols were running. The 28th of Sept. my dream came true; my father’s friends gave us two tickets to go to the circuit, so we went. We went to Motorland circuit and I saw my idols run, and I took pictures and got autographs from the pilots. That day I felt very lucky because not all people can get a photo with their idol.
