Tiempos Verbales Esenciales

Present Simple

• Forma Afirmativa (+)

  Si el sujeto es he, she o it, se añade -s al verbo.

  Ejemplo: I love you, He loves you.

• Forma Negativa (-)

  Se utiliza don't. Si el sujeto es 3ª persona singular (he, she, it), se utiliza doesn't.

  Ejemplo: I don't love you.

• Forma Interrogativa (?)

  Se utiliza do. Si el sujeto es 3ª persona singular (he, she, it), se utiliza does.

  Ejemplo: Do you love me?

Present Continuous

Se forma con el verbo to be (am, is, are) + el verbo principal con -ing.

• Forma Afirmativa (+)

  Sujeto + verbo to be + verbo principal con -ing.

• Forma Negativa (-)

  Sujeto + verbo to be (en negativo) + verbo principal con -ing.

• Forma Interrogativa (?)

  Verbo to be + sujeto (I, you, he...) + verbo principal con -ing?

Presente Simple

Se utiliza para cosas que hacemos con regularidad.

• Afirmativa: I/YOU/WE/THEY work | HE/SHE/IT workS
• Negativa: I/YOU/WE/THEY don't work | HE/SHE/IT doesn't work.

Presente Continuo

Se construye con el presente simple del "be" + la forma en -ing del verbo principal.

Past Simple

El Past Simple se construye con el sujeto + el verbo en pasado.

• De los regulares se forma añadiendo -ed.
• De los irregulares, son los de la 2ª columna.

Past Simple (Wh-Questions)

El Past Simple de este tipo de preguntas se construye con la partícula wh- + did + sujeto + verbo.

Past Continuous

• Afirmativa: Se construye con el sujeto + was/were + la forma en -ing del verbo.
• Ejemplo: I was walking, she was looking, we were looking.
• Negativa: Se
