Food & Cooking

I have quite a healthy diet because I eat vegetables, fruit, and drink a lot of water. Sometimes I eat fast food, but not very often. At the moment, I am trying to eat less sugar and fewer snacks. I prefer eating at home because it is cheaper and healthier. My favourite dish when I eat out is pizza or pasta.

Family & Friends

I want to talk about my brother. He works in a company and plays basketball in the evenings. He is friendly and funny, but sometimes lazy and impatient. We both like music and cars, but he is more outgoing than me. We get on very well and spend a lot of time together.

Money

I am careful with money. I try to save a little every month and I don’t buy unnecessary things. I usually leave tips if the service is good. I don’t like spending money on expensive clothes because they are not very important. Credit cards can be useful if used carefully.

Transport

My favourite transport is the bus because it is cheap and easy. The best way to get around my city is by bus, although you can also walk everywhere. Driving in the city centre is difficult because of traffic and parking. I usually go to work by bus. In my opinion, the city should add more bike lanes.

Sport

I really like football because it is exciting and fun. I used to play basketball when I was younger, but I stopped because I didn’t have enough time. I have supported Barcelona for many years and sometimes watch matches with my friends. The sporting event I remember most is the World Cup final.

Relationships

I want to talk about my best friend. We have known each other for about seven years and met at school. We get on well because we have similar interests. Sometimes we disagree, but we never have serious arguments. We usually see each other every weekend.

Cinema

Titanic is a famous film set on a ship. It is based on a real story and tells the story of two young people who fall in love during the trip. The actors are very famous and the ending is sad. I like it because it is romantic and emotional.

Education

I studied at a secondary school near my house and wore a uniform every day. I was good at geography and history, but not at maths. My favourite teacher was the psychology teacher because she was kind and patient. I didn’t like one teacher because he gave too much homework.

Home

I live in a flat in a quiet neighbourhood and have lived there for five years. It has three bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom, and a small balcony. I like the area because it is safe and close to shops and public transport. Sometimes I don’t like the traffic noise.

Work

My cousin works as a nurse in a hospital. She works long hours, sometimes at night, but likes helping people. The salary is okay, although the job can be stressful. She gets some holidays during the year. The best thing is helping patients and the worst is being tired all the time.
