EDUCATION 1: The first memory I have about learning English is when I started primary school. In the kindergarten we didn’t learnt anything about English because there wasn't teachers, instead there were monitors and we spent our times playing with the other children, eating and sleeping. When I began the primary school I remember we started to use the whiteboard, pencils, crayons, notebooks, etc. English was a new subject for us. The first years we learn a basic grammar which included animals, colors, numbers and simply sentences (My name is Paula, I'm 6 years old...) I remember truly funny moments singing and dancing to many songs, painting drawings... I think we were interested in this subject because it was funny and new to us but then, I admit, it started to get more difficult. Last years in the primary school we learnt verbal tenses, we had to learn to translate sentences, we listened to songs to fill blanks, and we increased the grammar. From the school I have nice memories and I will never forget my teacher. At secondary school I think I had good marks because I learned a lot of English in the previous years. I started to go to a Academy of English and this helped me to improve my English level. The subject was good and the homework was different, as compositions, recording videos, work in groups and making posters. Finally, the two last years in high school were essential because I took the lessons more than ever. We made exams very similar as university exams. Now I'm willing to learn as more as English I can, that's one reason why I'm attending to EOI this year.
