My Trip to Egypt
Genial! I have won a trip to Cairo, the capital of Egypt, for ten days; I could not be more excited.
This trip will be amazing. I shall discover another country, new people, and new customs; it really will be incredible, a truly unique experience.
When I am there, I would like to explore the most popular tourist places. I will learn about its people, their ancestors, and their way of life, as well as learn their language, their writing, and discover their traditions.
Cultural Immersion and Local Life
I shall meet new people who will help me specifically and learn more about the background of this country, show me around its culture, and reveal what daily life is like. I will explore every single one of the most extraordinary places.
I would love to be part of some activities that aim to teach what life is like day by day in such a great country as Cairo.
The Wonders of Egyptian Gastronomy
Gastronomy is extremely important in every region of the world, and Cairo has a great variety of dishes that are loved not only by the local population, but also by tourists. The dishes available in Cairo are truly eccentric; for instance, there is a very popular dish among the locals called ''Arabic Tacos'', which is prepared with authentic camel meat and tortillas larger than typical Mexican ones. Another common dish among the humbler population is known by the name of "Couscous", which is a kind of grain, with the difference that this one is smaller and spherical in shape, and its preparation process is similar. These are, without a doubt, the dishes I would love to eat during my stay.
First Journey Away From Home
It will be the first time that I travel away from my home region, and I am fascinated by the idea of going to a country with people who are very dedicated to their traditions and customs.
Imagine the adventures I will live in the company of the wonderful people who inhabit Cairo, as well as the great experiences that I can share with new friends who will teach me what life is all about and how to learn to enjoy it in the capital of such a fantastic country as Egypt.
I hope to be able to live great experiences—experiences that will leave me with profound teachings and very good memories. I will discover what it is like to live in Cairo, I will learn from its people, I'll try their outgoing and popular dishes, and I shall get to know their greatest and most wonderful traditions. I will enjoy each one of my days; I will enjoy the beautiful city of Cairo.
