Opinion Essay

Opinion essay:

We disagree with this statement because, in our opinion, television is great entertainment in our daily life.

The question says that television is bad, and we believe that nothing is bad if we use it correctly. By this we mean that spending 24 hours a day glued to a television and doing nothing during the day is clearly not good; however, watching television at an appropriate time is nothing negative.

In addition, television reports on what happens in the world and is a way of seeing the situation in which we live. Thanks to it, we can gain more culture. This is not to say that you cannot also go to a library and become cultured, but either way is correct.

Therefore, we believe it is clear that television is a good thing, because of the views given above.

Formal Letter

Formal letter:

Dear Meritxell,

I am writing to tell you that lately we are having too many examinations. It is true that we are in baccalaureate, but the number of examinations we are having in such a short time seems to me very exaggerated.

When I look at my notebook, I see nothing but examinations and more examinations, non-stop. In addition, we are now beginning the work on reference material and need more time to start doing it. With so many tasks, it becomes impossible to even structure it mentally.

I would be grateful if you could think about what I am saying to you, since it would be a great favour to us. If it is not possible, I will understand and I will struggle to get the most out of the course and improve.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Yours sincerely,
Yeray
