Partes del Día (Parts of the Day)

• In the morning: En la mañana.
• At midday (12:00 pm): Al mediodía.
• In the afternoon: Por la tarde (temprano).
• In the evening: Por la tarde/noche (al caer el sol).
• At night: Por la noche.
• At midnight (12:00 am): A medianoche.

Cómo decir la hora (Telling the Time)

Para preguntar la hora utilizamos: What’s the time? o What time is it? (¿Qué hora es?).

Reloj Analógico

En el reloj analógico, dividimos el círculo en dos partes:

• Past: Se usa para los minutos del 1 al 30 (lado derecho).
• To: Se usa para los minutos del 31 al 59 (lado izquierdo, indicando cuánto falta para la siguiente hora).
• Ejemplo: Two twenty (Las 2 y 20).

Hora Digital

Se lee el número de la hora seguido de los minutos:

• 1:10: One ten.
• 5:40: Five forty.

Adverbios de Frecuencia (How Often)

Se utilizan para indicar con qué frecuencia realizamos una acción:

• Always: Siempre.
• Usually: Por lo general / Usualmente.
• Often: A menudo.
• Sometimes: Algunas veces.
• Seldom: Raramente.
• Never: Nunca.

Reglas Gramaticales: Presente Simple

Cuando utilizamos los pronombres “he, she, it” (tercera persona del singular), debemos seguir estas reglas en oraciones afirmativas:

• Agregamos una “-s” o “-es” al final del verbo.
• Si el verbo termina en “ch, sh, x, o ss”, se le agrega obligatoriamente “-es”.

Mi Rutina Diaria (My Daily Routine)

I get up in the morning, then I get dressed. When I finish getting dressed, I have breakfast until 7:00. At 7:20, I go to the bus stop to go to Seville to study. I start class at 8:45. I have a break at 11:45 to eat a sandwich; the break ends at 12:15 and we continue with lessons until 3:00 in the afternoon. At about 3:15, I take the bus to go back home. When I arrive, I have lunch, then I do my homework and study. Later, I shower and go out with my partner for a while until dinner time, then I go back to my house for dinner and at 12:00 at night, I go to bed.
