Anyway, I need to tell you something important. I’ve got a big project deadline, which is really stressing me out, so I’ll have to spend most of my time studying. Also, I’m a bit short of money at the moment. I’ve already spent my allowance, and my bank balance is pretty low, so I’m just getting by. I was planning to put aside some savings, but I had to take out some money to pay for books, which wasn’t ideal.

So, I was thinking we could change our plans a bit. Why don’t we do something cheaper, like going for a walk or grabbing a coffee? There’s a nice place where we can just relax and chat. What do you think about that?

I’m really sorry, but something important has come up. I’ve got a big project due the day after we planned to meet, and I need to spend that day finishing it. On top of that, I’ve already used up all my allowance this month, so going out isn’t really possible for me right now.

Would you mind changing our plans a little? I was wondering if you could come over instead. Why don’t I cook something for us and we can relax at home? Maybe we could even watch a film or just chat properly after so long.
