The Internet is the most popular invention today, most of us couldn’t live without it. It’s not the latest invention of the age, and not the most modern but for everybody is the most useful. At first it was only an invention of the army to communicate each other. But after some years it could be used by all the people and nowadays we’re addicted to the Internet. This invention has some advantages and disadvantages.

There are some advantages of this invention. First, we can use it everywhere and we have it on our mobile phones too. Second, we can buy a lot of different things,as in the famous eBay. We can talk with people from all around the world, visiting webs of our favourite singers, writers…We can find information about everything we want too. We can also download books, music, videos…and it’s free.We can watch videos online or put it on the web, so everybody can watch it. The most famous page on the Internet where we can watch a lot of videos is YouTube.

On the other hand, on the Internet we can be scammed too. There are many pages with viruses on them, and when you open them thinking you’ re going to find what you we’re looking for, the virus gets in your computer. Moreover, some information you find or appears on some pages aren’t true. When you log in chats, or pages to meet people, you can’t believe all what they tell you, because sometimes they don’t tell you the truth and this is a big danger.

On balance, I think the Internet is one of the best inventions of humanity. I really like talking with my friends and surf the web. I know that there are some dangers but I’m very careful. What is a life without the Internet? I can’t imagine it, for me is so useful when I have to do my homework, receive e-mails, meet new people, watch videos and have fun. But I can’t discuss that the Internet is a very big business. The man who invented Google has become a billionaire, and the one who invented windows (the richest man in the world nowadays) too.
