Tiempos Verbales en Inglés

Present Simple

• Estructura: I/You/We/They + verb; He/She/It + verb+s/es
• Teoría: Rutinas, hechos generales, gustos.
• Ejemplo: I play football / She plays football.
• Negativa: I don’t play.
• Pregunta: Does she play?

Present Continuous

• Estructura: am/is/are + verb+ing
• Teoría: Acción en progreso ahora o planes futuros.
• Ejemplo: I am studying.
• Negativa: She isn’t watching.
• Pregunta: Are you coming?

Past Simple

• Estructura: verb+ed (regulares); segunda columna (irregulares).
• Teoría: Acciones completadas en un momento del pasado.
• Ejemplo: I played football / He went to London.
• Negativa: I didn’t go.
• Pregunta: Did you see?

Past Continuous

• Estructura: was/were + verb+ing
• Teoría: Acción en progreso o interrumpida en el pasado.
• Ejemplo: I was playing when she called.

Present Perfect

• Estructura: have/has + past participle
• Teoría: Experiencias, acciones con efecto en el presente.
• Ejemplo: I have visited London.
• Claves: ever, never, already, yet, just, for, since.

Expresando el Futuro

• Will: will + verb (Decisiones rápidas, promesas, predicciones). Ejemplo: I will help you.
• Going to: am/is/are + going to + verb (Planes decididos / evidencias). Ejemplo: I’m going to study tonight.
• Present Continuous: am/is/are + verb+ing (Planes ya organizados). Ejemplo: I’m meeting my friend tomorrow.

Gerundio e Infinitivo

• Gerund (V+ing): Como sujeto, tras preposición o ciertos verbos. Ejemplo: Swimming is fun / I’m good at drawing / I enjoy playing.
• Infinitive (to+V): Propósito, tras adjetivos o ciertos verbos. Ejemplo: I went to the gym to get stronger / It’s easy to learn English / I want to study.
