Lost in a snowstorm in a rocky high plateau Englishman, a foreigner runs up with Squally Summits, the dark mansion of the mysterious Heathcliff, a man so tortured by a driven to despair love who has lost the desire to live. While the storm roars in the exterior, the fatigued wayfarer listens fascinated to the sad history of Heathcliff, the former caballerizo, and his innocent love for Cathy, a free spirit that never managed to make real his fierce passion for him, because when Heathcliff returned in his search after a lot of time trying to do fortune, was to Cathy already married a young person of the high company. The disillusion destroyed Heathcliff's soul, but it did not manage to extinguish the fire of a desire that will burn in his entrails for the whole eternity.
